2 Day bakery workshop and hands-on training in collaboration with The Cake Closet

About the Event:

Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, SHARDA SCHOOL OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES (SAHS) is organizing “2 Day workshop and Handson Training in collaboration with The Cake Closet” from 10th and 11th September 2024 at Block 4, SAHS, which includes series of event from 2024. The event will be open for all the students and staff of Sharda University and other Universities located in Delhi NCR.

Theme: “Millets-Ancient Grains, Modern Flavors” The Millet Magic Bakery Workshop is a specialized event designed to explore the use of millets in baking, promoting their nutritional benefits and versatility. Participants will learn about different types of millets, how to incorporate them into baked goods, and practical techniques for creating delicious and nutritious millet-based products.

Objectives of Event

  1. To increase awareness of millets as a healthy ingredient for baking, highlighting their nutritional benefits and versatility.
  2. To provide hands-on experience in baking with millets, including practical recipes and techniques.
  3. To foster a community interest in healthier baking practices and sustainable food choices.
