Overview

Department of Community Medicine, School of Medical Sciences and Research, Sharda Hospital, Sharda University is conducting a “School Health Camp” on 20th  November 2024

Objectives of Event

  • To collect basic sociodemographic information of school-going children.
  • To screen the school-going children for common morbidities.
  • To provide age-appropriate information about health and nutrition to the children in schools.

The activities planned are as follows:

Programme Schedule:

Date:  20thNovember 2024
Time: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

I.              The students of class 1st to 5th will be the beneficiaries of this school health camp.

In view of the health camp, the undermentioned activities will be performed

-General examination

-Eye checkup

-Ear examination

-Dental examination

A record of all these examinations will be entered into the school health card provided by the Department of Community Medicine, SMS&R, and given to the beneficiaries.

II.             A health education session in the form of a ‘Health talk’ will be conducted by the post graduate student of the Department of Community Medicine, SMS&R

   Time: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
