Overview
Department of Civil Engineering, in association with the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is conducting a drone survey
Aim: The survey shall teach the students how to plan drone missions, how to fly drones and process the drone data to prepare orthorectified images, Digital Surface Models, Digital Elevation models and 3-D modelling
Objective: The objective of this event is to provide practical training to MTech GIS and 3rd-year BTech Civil Engineering students in drone mission planning, flight operations, and data processing, enabling them to generate orthorectified images, Digital Surface Models (DSMs), Digital Elevation Models (DEMs), and 3D models for the upcoming Greater Ghaziabad township development in Shahpur Nij Morta
