Overview

The Sports Society, Office of Dean of Student Welfare, Sharda University, is organizing the first-ever 2 Star National Level Squash Tournament. This event is scheduled to take place from 30^th September to 3^rd October, 2024, at Block 45, fifth floor, Sharda University, Greater Noida campus.

The opening ceremony will be held on October 1st at 11:00 am at Block 45, Fifth floor, Sharda University.

 We encourage everyone to participate and show support for this significant event.

Objectives of Event

• Promote Participation: Encourage players of all skill levels to join and enjoy the sport.
• Foster Competition: Create a competitive environment that challenges players and enhances their skills.
• Build Community: Strengthen relationships among players, coaches and fans, fostering a sense of camaraderie.
• Showcase Talent: Provide a platform for players to demonstrate their skills and potentially attract attention for further opportunities.
• Encourage Sportsmanship: Promote fair play and respect among participants, emphasizing the values of the sport.
• Increase Visibility: Raise awareness of squash in the local community, potentially attracting new players and fans.
• Fundraising and Sponsorship: Generate funds for Games/Sports activities.
• Develop Skills: Offer workshops or clinics as part of the tournament to help players improve their game.
• Gather Feedback: Use the event to gather insights from participants for future tournaments or activities.
