Overview

We are delighted to invite our international students to embark on a cultural immersion journey to the iconic Taj Mahal in Agra. Our visit will provide students with a deeper understanding of India's rich history, as they explore the intricate carvings, the white marble inlay work, and the grand Mughal Garden surrounding this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Students will also have the opportunity to experience the local culture and learn about the traditional craftsmanship that went into the creation of this masterpiece. This journey is not just a visit but a true tryst with Indian heritage, connecting them to the splendour of a past that continues to inspire and captivate the world.

Objectives of Event

This event aims to provide international students with an immersive experience of India’s cultural and architectural heritage by visiting the Taj Mahal, a global symbol of love and artistry.

Through this visit, we aim to:

  • Introduce students to India’s historical and cultural richness, deepening their appreciation of its heritage and Mughal architecture.
  • Encourage cross-cultural exchange by engaging students directly with India’s iconic sites and local history, building a broader global perspective.
  • Spark interest in art, architecture, and history through firsthand exposure to one of the world’s most famous monuments.
  • Showcase the intricacies of traditional craftsmanship, such as marble inlay and calligraphy, inspiring respect for the artisanship that defines Indian heritage
