Sharda School of Law, Sharda University along with Department of Civil Engineering, Sharda School of Engineering and Technology, Sharda University is organizing a Guest Lecture on “Contract Drafting Mastery: Essential Skills for Legal Professionals” on Wednesday, 23^rd October, 2024 for the students of M.Tech. (1st Year, Civil Engineering).

Objectives of Event

• Provide a clear overview of the fundamental principles of drafting legal documents, including the structure and language used in them.
•  Discuss the significance of effective drafting in legal practice and its impact on case outcomes and client relationships.
• Address the ethical considerations and responsibilities of legal professionals in drafting and advising clients.

Speaker Details:

• Advocate Shivangi Nanda is an advocate at Chambers of Mr. Samar Singh Kachwaha. She is specialized in civil disputes, commercial transactions, criminal jurisprudence, and arbitration laws. In addition to active litigation, also experienced in drafting contracts, corporate / commercial advisory and other regulatory work. She completed her graduation in Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University and then secured her LL.B degree from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, Delhi University. Presently engaged in active court practice, with 6+ years of post-qualification experience.
