Department of Periodontology, School of Dental Sciences, Sharda University in association with Indian Society of Periodontology and ISP Study Group Delhi NCR is celebrating Oral Hygiene Day 2024as Oral Hygiene Week from 1st August 2024 to 7th August 2024.

Program Details:

1.Online Quiz for BDS students to be conducted by Indian Society of Periodontology after dissemination of ISP- Gum Care document.

2.Distribution of free samples of toothpaste, toothbrush and patient education leaflet to patient visiting Department of Periodontology, School of Dental Sciences, Sharda University

3.Rangoli competition for BDS students with the theme “Gum Care” to be held from 9.00 am -10.00 am on 1^st August 2024. Department of Periodontology, Room No 7, IIIrd floor, School of Dental Sciences, Sharda University.

4.Radio Talk Show to empower people with the knowledge, tools and confidence to secure good oral health and hygiene.

Objectives of Event

• To empower people with the knowledge, tools and confidence to secure good oral health, hygiene, and its related aspects.
• To inspire change by focusing on the importance of oral health for your happiness and well-being, because good oral health has a positive impact on your general health, well-being, and quality of life.
• To create awareness among students about Oral Health and highlight the role of Periodontology and Periodontists in achieving this.
