Overview

It is a matter of pride for all of us that in a landmark declaration, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), co-represented by India, has officially announced 21st December 2024 as World Meditation Day. Sharda School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SSHSS) and Dean Student Welfare (DSW) are organizing a meditation session on 21st December, 2024. All the Shardans are cordially invited to attend this session for physical relaxation of the body and mental calmness.

Objectives of Event

  1. To commemorate the World Meditation Day, declared by UNGA    
  2. To introduce a meditation technique for experiencing mental peace
  3. To spread the message of practicing meditation, a powerful tool to unite with the self.
  4. To create group consciousness through such event in Sharda University
