Overview

Wellness and nutrition are essential for maintaining a balanced and healthy life, as they impact physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Good nutrition provides the body with vital nutrients, supporting energy, immune health, and cognitive function, while wellness practices like regular exercise, quality sleep, and stress management help the body utilize these nutrients effectively. Together, they promote resilience, mental clarity, and emotional stability, reducing the risk of chronic diseases and enhancing overall quality of life. Prioritizing wellness and nutrition enables individuals to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

The Sharda School of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSHSS) is organizing a guest lecture, ‘Understanding Gender Differences in Health: A Guide to Wellness for All’. This lecture aims to equip students with practical strategies for health management, focusing on the unique health needs of different genders. Topics will include hormonal health, diet, exercise, and mental well-being, all of which play a critical role in fostering a balanced lifestyle for both male and female students. By exploring how wellness practices and diet impact energy, focus, and resilience, the session will guide students on how nutrition and lifestyle choices influence mood, physical health, and academic performance. This insightful and educational event will empower students to adopt habits that enhance their well-being during college and beyond.
