Overview

The Sharda School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SSHSS) at Sharda University is excited to announce the launch of its new lecture series, RACONTEUR. This fortnightly series aims to bring together distinguished scholars from across the world to discuss pressing global issues. The inaugural lecture, titled “American Presidential Elections and Its Implications on World Order”, is scheduled for 06 September 2024. This event, held under the visionary leadership of Prof. Anviti Gupta, Dean of SSHSS, will feature Prof. Badrul Alam, Former Head of the Department of Political Science, Jamia Millia Islamia, as the distinguished speaker.

Objectives of Event

Objective of the “RECONTOR” lecture series:

  • To foster an intellectual environment where students, faculty, and the broader academic community can engage with critical global issues through insightful discussions.
  • To provide a platform for exploring contemporary political, social, and economic challenges, enhancing participants' understanding of complex topics, and encouraging critical thinking and informed debate.
  • The inaugural lecture, focusing on the American Presidential Elections and their implications on the world order, seeks to offer deep insights into how U.S. electoral outcomes shape international relations and global governance.
