Overview

Department of Dean Students' Welfare and the NSS Cell, Sharda University, in collaboration with Red Ribbon, are pleased to announce an Online Debate Competition on AIDS Awareness on the Occasion of World AIDS Day.

Objectives of Event

  • Raise Awareness: Educate participants and the audience about the global HIV/AIDS epidemic, its prevention, treatment options, and the importance of early detection.
  • Combat Stigma: Address and challenge the stigma and discrimination faced by people living with HIV/AIDS, fostering empathy and understanding.
  • Encourage Dialogue: Engage students in thoughtful discussion about HIV/AIDS-related issues, promoting the exchange of ideas and solutions to improve global health outcomes.
  • Empower Students: Enable students to develop a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by individuals affected by HIV/AIDS and encourage their active participation in the global fight against the epidemic.
