WORLD PHYSIOTHERAPY DAY- FREE PHYSIOTHERAPY CONSULTATION AND AWARENESS ON LOW BACK PAIN

 About the Event (Brief description):

 In 1996, 8 September was designated as World PT Day. This is the date World Physiotherapy was founded in 1951.

The day marks the unity and solidarity of the global physiotherapy community. It is an opportunity to recognize the work that physiotherapists do for their patients and community. Using World PT Day as a focus, World Physiotherapy aims to support member organizations in their efforts to promote the profession and advance their expertise.

The focus for this year’s World PT Day on 8 September is Low back pain.

 PROGRAMME DISCRIPTION:

  1. Free Physiotherapy Consultation in OPD
  2. Physiotherapy Awareness on low back pain.

Objectives of Event

  1. To raise awareness about low back pain, their symptoms and in which age groups it affects more.
  2. To make them aware about how to manage low back pain by assessing condition and abilities and guide how to keep active and help manage your symptoms. 
  3. Importance and benefits of physiotherapy exercises for all forms of low back pain.
