Overview
DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS, Sharda School of Basic Sciences and Research, Sharda University, organizing an outreach program called “SIGMATICS”. The program focuses on the importance and applications of Mathematics and Statistics in daily life among students.
Under this program, a three-team member of the Department of Mathematics, Sharda School of Basic Sciences and Research, Sharda University will conduct a 3-day series of lectures on Applications of Mathematics and Statistics at TSWRDCW, Suryapet, Telangana. The program will be conducted through an online mode to create awareness among students on Applications of Mathematics and Statistics
The word “Mathematics as well as Statistics” creates a phobia for many children nowadays and it is happening because of a lack of awareness of the applications and importance of Mathematics and Statistics. We are all aware that either knowingly or unknowingly, mathematical and statistical concepts are used in our day-to-day life. We try our level best to explain real-life applications of mathematics and Statistics through a variety of testing environments and quality thinking presentations rather than rote manipulation of formulae.

- To understand diversified students’ reflections.
- To learn students’ needs and expectations.
- To get rid of students’ phobia of Mathematics and Statistics.
- To become mentors to advanced students of various regions of India.
- To maintain professional integrity for building a strong reputation for our university.
- To learn more effective ways of pedagogy.
