Name of the Event: HANDS ON TRAINING ON PHYSIOTHERAPY TECHNIQUES

About the Event: 
 
Awareness and knowledge about common musculoskeletal and neurological conditions is integral for the physiotherapists. Patient care set up in ICU, balance training for individuals with neurological disorders, use of Mulligan technique for musculoskeletal disorders should be well known by the therapists. Fitness testing allows an individual to be aware about the current physical fitness. The 2 days hands on training programme for summer trainees will allow them to gain a brief insight into the above mentioned domains.

Objectives of Event

  • To train the UG summer trainees about patient care set up in ICU.
  • To train them for balance training and basics of Mulligan’s technique
  • To train them for physical fitness testing
