Objectives of Event
The workshop will cover the following topics:
DAY-1: Introduction to Research writing steps: “Plan –Conduct-Communicate”
DAY-2: Introduction to LaTeX: An overview of LaTeX, its benefits, and its importance in academic writing. LaTeX basics: Participants will learn how to set up a LaTeX document, including creating a title page, section headings, and adding text and equations.
DAY-3: Tables and figures: Participants will learn how to create tables and figures in LaTeX and insert them into their documents. References and citations: Participants will learn how to create a bibliography in LaTeX using the BibTeX system and how to insert citations into their documents. Tips and tricks: Participants will learn some useful tips and tricks for working with LaTeX, including how to troubleshoot common issues and how to make their documents look professional.
Outcome: Research writing experience and skill set acquisition.
