Department of Public Health Dentistry, School of Dental Sciences, Sharda University is Celebrating World Oral Health Day on 19th March 2024.
Activities of the Day:
- On-Site Oral Health Screening of the target group.
- Distribution of Oral Hygiene kits.
- Radio talk show.
- Skit by the Interns.
- Individual Counselling Sessions stressing on association between oral and general health and deleterious effects of tobacco.
Objectives of Event
- Raise awareness about the importance of oral health and its association with the overall health.
- Providing the necessary information and resources required to keep their mouths healthy.
- To explain the importance of regular dental check-ups and consultations with a dentist.
- Explaining the harmful effects of tobacco on oral health and quality of life.
