RDC is organizing expert lecture on “Cybersecurity using Lego Prime Kit, Cybersecurity Outreach for Young Minds” on 25th October 24.
Objectives of Event
- The topic demonstrates real-world applications of cybersecurity principles and prepares students for future challenges. Overall, the cybersecurity talk using the LEGO Education SPIKE Prime Kit provides an effective and engaging way for students to learn about cybersecurity. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on activities, students gain valuable skills that are essential in today’s digital world.

Speaker Details:
- Dr Vijay Kumar, Cybersecurity Research Engineer, Cardiff University, British Council. Dr Vijay Kumar is a cybersecurity researcher working at Cyber Innovation Hub and responsible for leading the realistic testbeds of Critical National Infrastructure. He finished his PhD in smart cities and internet of things. Previously, he worked as a cybersecurity consultant and performed security assessment of airports, metro rail, electrical grid, banks, LTE networks and others. He previously worked in Computer Sciences Corporation, Ernst & Young, Toshiba as a System Engineer, Cybersecurity Consultant, Research Engineer.
