Overview
Sharda School of Nursing Science & Research (SSNSR), Sharda University is organizing “Oral Health Screening“on the theme 'A Happy Mouth Is A Happy Body' on 11th July 2024 for B.SC nursing students, at SSNSR in collaboration with Indian Orthodontic Society, planning to conduct a nation-wide survey for early screening of malocclusions that adequate preventive oral healthcare programs can be incorporated.
The drive will be entitled ”SMILING BHARAT - National Orthodontic Diagnostic Drive”.
To increase public awareness of the significance of oral health and how it relates to general well-being. It also emphasizes providing people with the information, resources, and self-assurance they need to maintain good oral health.
Objectives of Event
- To improve oral health by increasing access to oral care.
- To provide basic preventive services for maintain health.
- To identify dental problems early including delayed tooth eruption or premature tooth loss, abscesses or trauma from injury.
- To maintain oral health, reduce tissue irritation and control dental plaque levels.
- To reduce oral microbial load and local infectious disease.
