Overview

An anti-ragging program is a comprehensive initiative implemented by educational institutions to prevent and address incidents of ragging—any form of harassment, bullying, or hazing that new students may face from their peers. The program is designed to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment on campus, ensuring that all students can pursue their education without fear or intimidation.
 
Key description :
 
1. **Awareness Campaigns**:
   - Regular awareness campaigns are conducted to educate students about the harmful effects of ragging and the importance of maintaining a ragging-free campus.
   - E Posters and Slogan competition : used to spread the message against ragging.
 
2. **Promoting Positive Interaction**:
   - The program encourages positive interaction between senior and junior students through interactive lecture.
   - These initiatives help build a sense of community and mutual respect among students.

Objectives of Event

  1. Prevention of Ragging : To create awareness among students about the negative effects of ragging and to prevent any instances of ragging through strict enforcement of rules.
  2. Safe Learning Environment: To ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students, where they can pursue their education without fear or intimidation.
  3. Legal Awareness : To inform students about the legal consequences of ragging and the rights of victims under anti-ragging laws and regulations.
  4. Support for Victims : To provide support systems for victims of ragging, including counseling, grievance redressal mechanisms, and protection from further harassment.
  5. Disciplinary Action : To establish clear procedures for reporting, investigating, and taking disciplinary action against those involved in ragging.
