Overview

Sharda School of Allied Health Sciences (SSAHS) proposes an Industrial visit to Delhi State Cancer Institute Dilshad Garden, Delhi which is India’s largest cancer Government Hospital. Students will observe the PET CT & Cyclotron also will learn about radiotherapy and nuclear Imaging and procedures in DSCI. This is a part of the course curriculum for 5th Semester students, B.Sc. (BRIT/BMIT) in Recent advancement in Medical Imaging Course.

Objectives of Event

• Students will learn what nuclear imaging is and its role in cancer diagnosis and treatment. 
• Students will observe how nuclear imaging is used in the diagnosis,
• Also Learn nuclear imaging results are integrated with other diagnostic methods like CT or MRI to create more detailed images (e.g., PET-CT).
• Learn how this multimodal imaging contributes to more accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
