Overview

The Department of Civil Engineering is pleased to offer a value added course on Fundamentals of Prestressed Concrete Design, aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of students and professionals in the field. This comprehensive course covers the essential principles of prestressed concrete, including materials, methods (pre-tensioning and post-tensioning), and design techniques. Participants will engage in interactive workshops, practical design sessions, and gain insights from industry experts through guest lectures. By the end of the course, attendees will have a solid understanding of prestressed concrete's applications in modern construction, making them well-equipped to tackle complex engineering challenges.

Objectives of Event
