Overview

Department of Community Medicine, School of Medical Sciences and Research, Sharda Hospital, Sharda University is conducting a “School Health Camp” on 5^th & 6^th  December 2024. 

Objectives of Event

• To collect basic sociodemographic information of school-going children.
• To screen the school-going children for common morbidities.
• To provide age-appropriate information about health and nutrition to the children in schools.

The students of class 1^st to 5^th will be the beneficiaries of this school health camp.

In view of the health camp, the undermentioned activities will be performed

-General examination

-Eye checkup

-Ear examination

-Dental examination

A record of all these examinations will be entered into the school health card provided by the Department of Community Medicine, SM&SR, and given to the beneficiaries.

A health education session in the form of a ‘Health talk’ will be conducted by the post graduate student of the Department of Community Medicine, SM&SR.
