Department/ School is pleased to announce the commencement of our upcoming Value-Added Course – Basics of Computational Chemistry NV33111 organized by the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, Sharda School of Basic Sciences & Research. This course has been meticulously designed to provide the students of M.Sc. Chemistry/Biochemistry with additional skills and knowledge that complement your academic pursuits.

Course Details: This course will emphasize on the basic principles and fundamentals of computational chemistry and it applications, particularly focusing on hands on training to familiarize with computational chemistry software and calculations.

Objectives of Event

  • Equip students with practical skills and knowledge in Molecular Mechanics and Semi-Empirical Methods.
  • Foster a deeper understanding of Basis Sets, Geometry Optimization and Frequency Calculations  through interactive workshops and discussions.
  • Provide hands-on experience and real-world applications in Density Functional Theory (DFT).
