Sharda School of Media, Film & Entertainment is delighted to invite to a Workshop cum Training Program on ‘Positive Deviance Approach in Higher Education’. This workshop would be conducted by Prof. Arvind Singhal, who is the Samuel Shirley & Edna Holt Marston Endowed Professor of Communication and Director of the Social Justice Initiative at The University of Texas at El Paso, USA on 10 th of January, 2025.
Objectives of Event
- To introduce students of Mass Communication to the concept of Positive Deviance and its application in higher education.
- To explore how the approach can be used to identify and amplify innovative communication strategies that promote educational equity, diversity, and inclusion.
