Overview
The Department of Biotechnology, Sharda School of Engineering & Technology (SSET), takes immense pleasure in celebrating Saraswati Puja on the auspicious occasion of Vasant Mahotsav, scheduled for 3rd February 2025.
Saraswati Puja is a sacred tradition where students, faculty, and staff unite to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the embodiment of knowledge, wisdom, arts, and learning. This celebration fosters an atmosphere of spiritual enrichment, academic inspiration, and cultural pride within the department.
The event will feature a ceremonial puja, devotional offerings, and cultural performances, followed by the distribution of prasad and donations among the children of Kartavya NGO. It is a moment to reflect on the importance of learning and creativity in shaping our academic and personal growth.
Objectives of Event
- Spiritual Enrichment: To create an atmosphere of spiritual growth and reflection by seeking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati.
- Academic Inspiration: To inspire students, faculty, and staff to pursue knowledge and wisdom with renewed vigour.
- Support for Kartavya NGO: To encourage donations and support for Kartavya NGO, promoting social responsibility and community service.
- Cultural Pride: To celebrate and promote cultural heritage and traditions within the academic community.
- Community Building: To foster a sense of unity and togetherness among students, faculty, and staff through shared rituals and celebrations.
- Blessings and Enlightenment: To seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for the removal of negativity and to achieve enlightenment and wisdom
