Overview

The School of Education is organizing a specialized training session on MS Excel to enhance students’ proficiency in spreadsheet management and data analysis. This 2-hour Hands-on Training Session, scheduled for 21st February 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, will be conducted by Mr. Prasenjit Sinha, an experienced trainer in data management and analytics.

During the session, students will be introduced to fundamental Excel operations, followed by advanced functionalities such as conditional formatting, data validation, and chart creation. The training will include real-world applications, interactive exercises, and problem-solving activities to ensure a practical learning experience.

This workshop is designed to enhance students' digital literacy, helping them leverage Excel for academic research, administrative tasks, and professional development. By the end of the session, participants will be equipped with the skills to efficiently manage data, automate calculations, and make informed decisions using Excel.

Objectives of Event

The objective of this training session is to equip students of the School of Education:

  • To develop skills in sorting, filtering, and organizing data effectively.
  • To enable students to create and format tables, charts, and graphs for data visualization.
  • To provide hands-on practice in basic mathematical calculations and logical operations in Excel.
