Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Sharda School of Engineering & Science (SSES) is organising an “INVITED TALK OF PROF. SUBHASH BASAK” on February 10th, 2025.
Prof. Subhash C. Basak is currently working as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, University of Minnesota Duluth, Duluth, MN, USA. Prof. Basak had his PhD in biochemistry and subsequently became interested in mathematical chemistry and its applications in drug design, computational toxicology, mathematical proteomics, and bioinformatics. He has published more than 500 Research Articles with h-index 59 and citation 11750. He is the editor-in-chief of the international journal Current Computer Aided Drug Design. Prof. Basak was involved in editing two books: 1) Statistical and Machine Learning Approaches for Network Analysis (Wiley) and 2) Advances in Mathematical Chemistry and Applications, Volume 1 & 2 (Elsevier & Bentham Science Publishers). He was involved as Chair from USA in the organization of thirteen mathematical chemistry international workshops in India, USA, and South America.
