On the occasion of World Leprosy Day, Department of Dermatology, Venereology & leprosy, SMS&R, Gautam Budh Nagar is organizinga “World Leprosy Day Event” on 30.01.2025.Details of the same are outlined below.
Objectives of Event
- Leprosy is a significant public health concern, and its timely diagnosis and management are crucial.
- Leprosy remains a condition often surrounded by stigma and misconceptions. Through this event, the dermatology department aims to sensitize patients, medical and paramedical students, about the early signs, diagnosis, treatment options, and social implications of leprosy.
- The event will provide an opportunity for attendees to engage in informative discussions and receive guidance on how to approach this condition with greater awareness and compassion.
