Overview
Department of Mathematics & Data Science (SSES) is organizing a visit of B.Sc. Data Science & Analytics and Mathematics, third year students, and M. Sc. Data Science & Analytics and Mathematics, first year students to the village Faridpur, Sikandrabad, district: Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh on 04/03/2025 (Tuesday) for Community connect program. Objective of the visit is to strengthen connection of students and communities regarding various issues faced in day to day life.
Objectives of Event
- To enhance the awareness of the social, health, and environmental challenges faced by the community of villagers. This will also provide real-life problem-solving experience to our students. SDG 3 (Good Health And well-being)
- To study the attitude and experiences of rural area students about mathematics education. SDG 4 (Quality education)
- To make aware about gender sensitization for betterment of society – SDG 5 (Gender equality)
- To aware rural communities about government agencies for enabling smoother access to schemes. -SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure)
