Overview
Sharda School of Engineering and Science, Department of Electrical Electronics and Communication Engineering, Sharda University, is organizing an enriching community connect visit to Jaitpur Village, Gautam Buddha Nagar, for students of M Tech EEE and M.Tech ECE as part of its ongoing efforts towards community engagement and social responsibility.
This visit aims to assess the specific needs, challenges, and opportunities within the rural community. This includes gathering information on health, education, infrastructure, and economic conditions.

Objectives of Event
- Spreading Awareness on Government Welfare Programs: Enable students to educate rural communities about key government schemes related to health, education, employment, and social security, ensuring better outreach and accessibility. (SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities)
- Encouraging Civic Engagement and Participation: Facilitate student-led interactions that empower villagers to actively utilize government resources for social and economic growth. (SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions)
- Promoting Legal and Social Rights Awareness: Guide communities on their fundamental rights, entitlements, and legal frameworks, helping them make informed decisions regarding social welfare programs.
