The School of Education is organizing three days’ workshop to acquaint prospective teachers all with the varied yoga asanas and their long term health benefits.

Sharda School of Law on the occasion of National Law Day/Constitution Day is organizing a Symposium on “Constitutional Measures towards the Elimination of Violence against Women: Rhetoric & Achievements” on Friday, 25th November 2022, 10:30 am onwards.

About the Event:

The Constitution of India was adopted and enacted on 26th November 1949 and since then the Day is celebrated as the Constitution Day or National Law Day. The 75th year of Independence makes the day special as India is celebrating this year as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Sharda School of Law is organizing a Symposium on the occasion of 73rd National Law Day and International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women on the theme of “Constitutional Measures for Elimination of Violence against Women: Rhetoric & Achievements”. This Symposium shall provide a platform where last 75 years progress with regard to stated constitutional goals will be evaluated especially in the context of measures taken for upliftment of women. It shall be an opportunity to discuss, deliberate and critically assess the efficacy and effectiveness of legislations and policy measures in last 75 year. Also, the Symposium would result in providing suggestions for further course of action in order to achieve better results in coming future.

Event Objectives:

  • To educate people on issues of concern with regard to violence against women.
  • To create awareness among people in general and women in particular about policies and measures taken by the Government to eliminate violence against women.
  • To assess the achievements of constitutional goals especially with regard to women.
  • To suggest further actions and measures to address the problem of violence against women.

Expected Outcomes:

  • The participants shall be able to appreciate the constitutional goals and policy measures with regard to violence against women.
  • The participants shall be able to critically analyze the issue on the anvil of rhetoric versus achievements.
  • The suggestions from the Symposium shall benefit the stakeholders in further understanding the problem of violence against women and formulating fresh solutions for the same.

  • Those who can perform duties twice a week.
  • Those who can enthusiastically participate in activities with the kids.

Kartavya classes are held in Block-1, Rooms 105,106,107 from 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM (During Summer) and 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM (During Winter), Monday to Saturday.

Yakult Danone India (P) Ltd is a 50:50 Joint Venture (JV) between Yakult Honsha, Japan and Group Danone of France, both of which are global Probiotics leaders. The JV was formed in 2005 to manufacture and sell probiotic products in the Indian market. Yakult, a Probiotics drink was launched in India in 2007. The factory is designed as per international standards and special care was taken while designing to maintain the highest level of hygiene standards and deliver the best quality product to its consumers.
