Recent Advances in Physical, Bio and Life Sciences
Feb 6 – Feb 10 all-day

The FDP entitled “Recent Advances in Physical, Bio- and Life-Sciences” is scheduled to be taking place during 6-10 February 2023 in online mode at Sharda University, Greater Noida by the Department of Physics, Sharda School of Basic Sciences and Research in Collaboration with the IQAC Team of Sharda University. The FDP will provide faculty members with the national as well as global overview of knowledge on what are the latest areas emerging in research in physical sciences, bio sciences and life sciences. The whole idea here is to create awareness development in our faculty members and upgradation of our faculty in terms of latest research ideas for going ahead in the teaching learning process. This FDP will also foster collaboration ambience in all domains of trans-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary research and development at Sharda University.

To strengthen the technical skills of the students, Department of CSE, School of Engineering & Technology (SET) has taken an initiative to train and prepare the student for GATE Examination on every Saturday’s(including non-working).

Through GATE students will get a chance in PSU’s as well as pursuing a higher degree from the renowned institution of India (IIT’s, NIT’s etc).

Apart from it the students who levy to work in product based companies, it will help them in their technical interviews.

Cultural Society responsible for all the cultural events in campus around the year. Cultural Society strives to bring out the hidden talent of the students of the. It is the place where students can showcase what they have got. It helps to discover their talent. Cultural events include competitions such as instrumental, singing, dance, etc. Every year Cultural club organizes activities such as Talent Hunt, Fresher’s Party, Farewell, Fest, and Annual fest. The cultural club also celebrates festivals such as Holi, Republic Day, Lohri, etc. which creates a vibrant atmosphere.
The competitive academic environment and co-curricular activities on campus keep the students on their toes. But everyone needs some time off, to relax and recharge. The Cultural Society at Sharda University is the best place for this.
Every year this club looks for active participation of students from various courses in cultural activities which results in enhancement of the personal skills and experiences like confidence, self-presentation; teamwork and collaboration, time management and organizational skills, self-awareness, self-discipline, open-mindedness to move beyond boundaries and experiment with different ideas, communication skills, the ability to cope with criticism and learn from them resulting in a whole new developed, changed and an improved person.

School of Education (SOE), Sharda University is organizing special coaching classes for “CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test)”.

CTET ( Central Teacher Eligibility Test) is a test conducted by the CBSE to check eligibility of prospective teachers. The test is a national eligibility test applicable all across the country. The rationale for having this test is as under:

  1. It would bring national standards and benchmark of teacher quality in the recruitment process.
  2. It would induce teacher education institutions and students from these institutions to further improve their performance standards.
  3. It would send a positive signal to all stakeholders that the Government lays special emphasis on teacher quality.
