Overview
Department of Public Health Dentistry, School of Dental Sciences, Sharda University is celebrating World Oral Health Day on 20th March 2025 with a theme ‘A Happy Mouth is.. A Happy mind.’
Activities of the Day:
- Provide on-site oral health screenings and treatments for the target group.
- Conduct focused-group counselling sessions to emphasize the link between oral health and overall well-being. The session will include appropriate practices for good oral health, hand hygiene, and menstrual hygiene for the inmates.
- Distribution of Oral Hygiene Kits.
Objectives of Event
- Spreading awareness about the vital link between oral hygiene and overall health.
- Offering guidance and tools to support basic hygiene practices (good oral hygiene, hand hygiene & menstrual hygiene).
- Emphasizing the significance of routine dental examinations.
