Sharda School of Business Studies is organizing a one-week online training on ‘Systematic Literature Review’.

The training aims to make the participants understand various approaches of conducting a systematic literature review. It will aid in developing skills for an efficient literature search in relevant databases, conducting a systematic review, writing quality papers, successfully publishing the work, and incorporating the literature in the thesis.

Objectives of Event:

  • Understand the rationale for conducting a systematic review and meta-analysis.
  • Understand the process related to steps in conducting SR and Meta-Analysis focusing on widely used methods and frameworks
  • Discuss widely used theories, constructs, and methods and identify new avenues for future research using TCCM & ADO Framework
  • Understand different methods of SLR such as Bibliometrics, Meta-Analysis, etc.
  • Identify, access, and perform literature search using key sources
  • Use bibliographic reference software manager and other software programs to manage studies.
  • Utilize and convert SLR for thesis writing.

Mechanical Ventilation is ventilation of the lungs by artificial means usually by a ventilator. A ventilator delivers gas to the lungs with either negative or positive pressure. The purpose of ventilation to maintain or improve ventilation, & tissue oxygenation. And to decrease the work of breathing & improve patient’s comfort.

Objectives of Event:

  • To discuss the pressure and volume targets to be used when ventilating patients.
  • To discuss concerns regarding the use of high oxygen concentrations in critically ill patients.
  • To List the gas exchange and acid-base targets for critically ill patients.
  • To discuss concerns regarding patient-ventilator synchrony.
