SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT -FINANCIAL LITERACY

India under the G20 presidency has called for a focus on inclusive agenda keeping the vulnerable citizens in mind. The skill development project- Financial Literacy undertaken by Sharda School of Business Studies (SSBS) embodies the same spirit and seeks to spread financial literacy among the under privileged communities. The knowledge of how to spend, save and borrow, how to invest and accumulate wealth etc are skill sets that needs to be developed among them so as to empower them to make smart and effective financial decisions as well as protect their consumer rights.

This Skill Development Project on Financial Literacy for the underprivileged communities would be undertaken during the period of February -March 2023.

The objective of the project are to enable underprivileged communities:

  1. To make appropriate financial decisions about investing, saving, managing debts, child education etc.
  2. To educate them about the use of financial principles as a key to breaking the cycles of debt
  3. To acquire Life skills alongside financial principles: How to access banking services, repay loans responsibly, and planning skills, such as how to create investment and savings plans for their families.

1-To impart hands on skill to the participants about the basic principles of the Neonate Resuscitation

3. Hands-on NRP workshop – A hands-on workshop was organized on the 4th floor demo room at Sharda Hospital. The aim of the workshop was to impart hands-on basic skills for neonatal resuscitation. Four different stations with eight participants each were set up and trained by certified NNF faculty using mannequins and resuscitation equipment.

Automation using IoT has become increasingly important in various industries, including manufacturing, transportation, healthcare, and finance, among others. The IoT ecosystem comprises three key components: the physical devices or objects, the connectivity or communication between these devices, and the software applications that are used to control and manage the devices and the data they generate. Overall, automation can lead to significant improvements in productivity, efficiency, quality, safety, and cost savings for businesses. Through this workshop students will gain hands on exposer to practice automation using latest technological skill sets.
