The School of Nursing Science & Research is organizing 3RD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE THEME OF “CURRENT TRENDS IN NURSING PERSPECTIVES: A LEADING PATHWAY TO QUALITY CARE” on 17th and 18th March, 2023 from 09:00 AM -05:00 PM @ ANAND SWAROOP AUDITORIUM, SHARDA UNIVERSITY, GREATER NOIDA, U.P
Mar 17 – Mar 18 all-day

Sharda School of Nursing Science is Organizing the “3rd International Nursing Conference” which will be conducted on 17th and 18th March 2023, at Sharda University Greater Noida, U.P. The conference will emphasize the theme “Current Trends in Nursing Perspectives: A Leading Pathway to Quality Care”. Nursing is a dynamic field that evolves with time. Nurses across the world overcome incredible challenges to care for their patients and communities. Skilled nurses and midwives are critical in strengthening the healthcare delivery system which significantly impacts the health of women and children globally. Guidelines have been introduced by Indian Nursing Council to standardize the concept of Nurse Practitioners in Midwifery (NPM) and Respectful Maternity Care (RMC) to pave the way for safe, high-quality long-term care to mothers by trained midwives. Overall, in these challenging times, Nurses should chart new paths through professional development. Adequate and effective human resources are critical for people’s health. Evidence-based practice is now widely recognized as the key to improving healthcare quality and patient outcomes. The alliance between nursing education and nursing service (Dual role) is the strength to provide quality care. It facilitates both student learning and quality patient care.

Integration also improves the interpersonal relationships between nurse educators and nurse practitioners which creates a healthier clinical environment as well as facilitates staff and student learning. Most current health practices are moving away from isolated nursing programs towards more integrated and holistic strategies such as SBM-R (Standards-Based Management and Recognition) and Nurse Preceptor Model. In order to practice in a variety of newly emerging specialized areas, Indian Nursing Council (INC) considers that registered nurses need to receive additional competency-based training as specialist nurses. Nurse Practitioners in Critical Care Nursing (NPCC) is one such specialty that calls for specialized nurses. Technological advancements in critical care call for extra training to equip nurses with specialized skills and knowledge. This conference provides a wonderful opportunity for all nursing professionals to learn about current trends in nursing practice around the world.

Objectives of the Event:

  • To explore current trends related to nursing perspectives on making healthcare services cost-effective.
  • To identify the best nursing practice in the areas of evidence-based research, dual role, and Tracking systems in nursing.
  • To understand the concept of Standard Based Management & Recognition (SBMR) and utilize simulation as a method of teaching.
  • To prospect the roles and responsibilities of Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Midwives, and Advanced Nurse practitioners while providing care for patients in clinical settings.
