Sharda School of Agricultural Sciences is organizing a workshop on “Processing and Value Addition of Horticultural Crops” for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture Semester 2 students during June 03-12, 2023.
Fruits and vegetables are important supplement to the nutritional requirements in the human diet as they provide the essential minerals, vitamins and fibre required for maintaining health. This value-added course is designed with the idea to benefit the students by application of the knowledge gained immediately into practice.
Objectives of the Event:
To impart knowledge of fruits, vegetables, and ornamental horticultural crops and to apprise about the concepts and approaches in horticulture for the development of skills which is a pre-requisite for a successful career in horticulture from the perspective of both employability and entrepreneurship
