National Doctor’s Day 2022

School of Dental Sciences, Sharda University is celebrating National Doctor’s Day in collaboration with the Dental Council of India on 01 st of July, 2022. On this occasion, School of Dental Sciences welcome all the Doctors and Health Care Professionals associated with the Institute for a felicitation function where doctors and post graduate students with outstanding performance will be awarded.

Proposed Activities:

1. Felicitation of doctors, post graduate students and technical staff for their extraordinary contribution and dedication towards patient care during pandemic
2. Department of Public Health Dentistry will be organizing a Dental camp at a Senior Secondary Government School, Secunderabad, GB Nagar District and will highlight the importance of oral health. The students at the school will be sensitized regarding how doctors work in hospital set up to take care of them and COVID appropriate behavior & healthy lifestyle.
3. “Ek Selfie Doctor Ke Saath” Department of Periodontology will be setting up a selfie point/booth in the Department of Periodontology, SDS (Room No 7, III floor) Patients will get their pictures clicked with the doctors after their treatment. This will be a small step to honor doctor for his/ her contribution to the health domain.

Objectives of the Event:

• To highlight and honor the noble profession of doctors
• To acknowledge and thank the doctors for working around the clock during this pandemic to ensure patient’s well being
• To sensitize young generation regarding the profession of doctors and to highlight the importance of COVID appropriate behavior and health lifestyle

• Felicitation ceremony: 11.00am – 11.30am, LT 3, SDS
• Dental Camp: 10.00am-2.00pm, Senior Secondary Government School, Secunderabad, GB Nagar District
• Selfie Booth: 9.00am – 4.00pm, Room No. 7, 3 rd Floor, SDS
