Career Counseling and Development Centre in collaboration with SET, SDS, and SAHS is organizing a 5-Day Workshop on “AI and Career Development in Healthcare” from February 01 to February 05, 2021.
Objective:
This Workshop highlights Artificial Intelligence (AI) aims to mimic human cognitive functions. It is bringing a paradigm shift to healthcare, powered by the increasing availability of healthcare data and rapid progress of analytics techniques. We survey the current status of AI applications in healthcare and discuss its future. AI can be applied to various types of healthcare data

Speakers:
- Prof. Shiva Kumar (MS), is the Adjunct Professor at Sonoma State University and Santa Clara University. He is the co-founder and CTO of Dew Mobility, USA, Team Lead for Global City team challenge hosted by the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST USA). He has over 25 years of experience in product development, design and faculty. He is a seasoned technologist, instructor and practitioner on the Internet of Things (IoT) with extensive experience as lead faculty, lab-practice and mentorship in executing smart city, smart agriculture, assisted living, and other IoT related projects.
- Prof. R.K. Aggarwal is working as an Professor in JNU, New Delhi done his M. Tech, IIT from Delhi Ph. D from University of Delhi. His area of specialization is Data Mining, Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, Medical Imaging and Information Security etc. he is having more than 27 years of experience in the field of teaching and research and he published more than 35 Journals and conference papers.
- Prof Ashok Kumar obtained his M.Sc. (Integrated) in Physics from I.I.T. Kanpur and Ph.D. in Solar & Space Physics from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore (USA). He has research experience at Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School (USA) in Medical imaging and at Stanford university (USA) in Microfluidics. He is a recipient of U.S. Antarctica service Medal for research in Antarctica. He is a professor in the Dept. of Physics and is currently heading the Sharda University Center of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, Imaging & Forensics.
- Dr. Hemant Sawhney, an alumnus of K.D. Dental College, Mathura completed his M.D.S. in Oral Medicine & Radiology from Dr. B R Ambedkar university, Agra.
