The speaker of the day is himself an IAS (retired) 1987 batch Tamil Nadu cadre and would be sharing his valuable experience with you. You are cordially invited to join the event.
The intended objective of this event is to:

Mr. Jasbir Singh Bajaj, a former IAS officer from the 1987 batch Tamil Nadu cadre. After serving the state and the nation for more than 3 decades and on getting the Apex Scale (Chief Secretary’s Grade) he took voluntary retirement from IAS on 31.12.2018. Prior to that, he had served in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for 5 years from 1980 to 1985 as Inspector of Police. After resigning from CBI he wrote the Civil Services Examination, 1986 and cleared the same in his only attempt with Law and Public Administration / Management as his optional subjects. Though he didn’t have even a basic degree (LL.B.) in Law, his passion for the subject took him through one of the most difficult competitive exams of the country. He secured 89th rank and was allocated Tamil Nadu Cadre of IAS in 1987.
During my 32 years of service, I completed my LL.B from Law Centre-II, Faculty of Law, Delhi University in 2012 and then LL.M from Indian Law Institute (ILI) in 2015. I also completed my Master of Business Laws (MBL) from NLSIU, Bangalore in 2016. Presently I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Law from GLA University, Mathura. Probable Completion in 2022.
Post-VRS from IAS he decided to guide and mentor the future aspirants for Civil Services and established BE N BY IAS, a platform created with the blessings of a number of former Judges of High Courts and retired senior Civil Servants. He personally guides the aspirants for their Law optional and General Studies subjects. There is a big vacuum and almost complete dearth of coaching platforms for law students and he wishes to fill that gap and make this opportunity available to our law students. Law as an optional subject has the highest success rate among all other optional subjects.
