The objectives of VAC course is:
- To provide the understanding and hands on training of Molecular Mechanics and Quantum Mechanics
- To understand the calculations of various semi-empirical methods
- To extend the concept of basis sets, geometry optimization and frequency calculations through computational chemistry software
- To provide the understanding of Density Functional Theory (DFT) and hands on experience of calculation of DFT based descriptors
- To provide the understanding of mathematical modeling of QSAR / QSPR through hands on experience
