Skill based workshop on ‘Building Information Modeling – BIM Architecture’ | SAP | 14th-18th December 2021

The School of Architecture and Planning (SAP) is conducting a Skill-based workshop on ‘Building Information Modeling –BIM Architecture’ for the B. Arch. 3rd Year students.

This workshop is planned from 14th – 18th Dec. 2021 (5 days) 10:00 AM- 3:00 PM

Also, it includes a one-day special workshop by Graphisoft ArchiCAD on 18th Dec. 2021

Objectives of the Event:

  • A brief introduction and a demonstration of BIM, of its uses in Design.
  • This workshop is designed for students to learn the essential concepts of BIM, and the basic technical skills to create and manipulate a BIM model. Those skills include how to retrieve information from a BIM model and how to use common modeling tools.
  • This workshop will take students from a beginner to an intermediate level where students can easily design their projects on Autodesk Revit – the powerful and sophisticated building information modeling (BIM) software used by professionals all over the world.
  • Introduction to ArchiCAD (BIM Product) by Graphisoft Team
  • By the end of this workshop, students will have the skills and knowledge to take a project from start to finish using the tools and library provided by Autodesk

CNE Program for staff Nurses in Sharda hospital on Labor room setting and its protocol @ Sharda Hospital

SNSR is organizing CNE Program for staff Nurses in Sharda hospital in the Labor room setting and its protocol on 10th December 2021 from 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm. 

Labor rooms in every delivery point should be standardized for delivering high-quality services during childbirth. Delivery points with a high caseload should be prioritized first for standardization. This document explains how to upgrade the labor rooms for standardization, construct new labor rooms/delivery units as per need, or reorganize the existing labor rooms. It is important for improving the quality and practices in the labor room. Quality of service is influenced by the service provider’s competencies, availability of adequate resources.

India has made significant progress in addressing the issue of the high maternal mortality ratio. however, progress on reduction of neonatal and infant mortality rates is suboptimal. It is the need for improving the quality of practices in the labor room. It acts as activities to facilitate an enabling environment for allowing the best practice. The guidelines are going released for strengthening the existing labor rooms and re-organizing them for high efficiency and high-quality services delivery.

  • To provide a good working atmosphere to the hospital staff
  • To prevent cross-infection
  • To explain regarding safe delivery without injury to mother and baby
