Faculty, Staff, and students are requested to share the joy of giving by contributing your old or discarded household materials such as old clothes, shoes, books, utensils, bed sheets, or any other usable household articles. Unused/ New articles such as hygiene products, candles, lanterns, and sanitary products are also welcome.

Objectives of the Event:

  • To foster a feeling of humanity, compassion, empathy among individuals
  • To imbibe a sense of giving and reaching out to people in need.

International Students’ Affairs & Linkages Cell (ISAL), SBS, OPEN CALL FOR ERASMUS MUNDUS SCHOLARSHIP (October 2022) @ Online Registration

International Students’ Affairs & Linkages Cell (ISAL), SBS, Sharda University is pleased to offer the students of BBA (IST Semester) an opportunity for the Student Exchange program under the aegis of the Prestigious ERASMUS MUNDUS Scholarship at the University of Dubrovnik.

About Program: The University of Dubrovnik (UNIDU- www.) is a public university located in Dubrovnik, Croatia and offers professional courses in the varied disciplines such as marine engineering, marine electrical engineering and communication technologies, business and applied information technology, economy and business studies, tourism and mass communication. The selected students would be required to take up research preferably in the area of international Trade or Business and submit the report at the end of the program. This program is primarily for research purposes and does not provide for credit transfers, The students would be required to pursue their regular semester as per the SBS guidelines. They will also be required to fulfil the CA (Continuous Assessment) requirements and appear for MTE/ ETE in an online mode.

Number of Scholarships Offered: 02 (Only two students of the above-mentioned program)

Program Coverage (Expenses): The program offers a financial grant of 800,00 Euros per month per each student which includes semester fees, boarding and lodging. Plus, an additional travel grant in the amount of 820,00 Euros per each student.  The grant does not cover the Health Insurance, VISA or any other cost.

Who can Apply (Eligibility Criterion): Only Indian Students enrolled in the First Year of Bachelors of Business Administration Program are eligible to apply for the program. The students should have a good academic record with at least 8.5 CGPGA (80 percent) in class 10th and 12th/. Proficiency in English is a must (Minimum B1 Level).

Duration of the Program: 3 months

Proposed Dates for Travel: From October 2022 to February 2023 winter semester

Process of Selection: The selection process entails the following steps:

  • Scrutiny of the Application based on Academic record, extra – curricular activities, and Research Topic

Department of Mathematics organizing an online intramural symposium on “Mathematics and its Applications” for final year UG & PG students of Mathematics Department / SBSR on 12th-13th May 2022. 

Our aim is to express Mathematics in an explicit manner which leads to a real understanding of the subject and lead students for advanced level research. Mathematics is a powerful problem-solving tool and a highly creative field of study that explains diverse phenomena such as the human nervous system, the evolution of life forms and the stock market. This series is devoted to significant topics or themes that have wide application in mathematics or mathematical science and for which a detailed development of the abstract theory is less important than a thorough and concrete exploration of the implications and applications.

Students will present their own project work/ dissertation through power point/ poster presentation on Mathematical Applications and Modelling in various emerging areas of Science & Technology.
