Faculty, Staff, and students are requested to share the joy of giving by contributing your old or discarded household materials such as old clothes, shoes, books, utensils, bed sheets, or any other usable household articles. Unused/ New articles such as hygiene products, candles, lanterns, and sanitary products are also welcome.

Objectives of the Event:

• To foster a feeling of humanity, compassion, empathy among individuals
• To imbibe a sense of giving and reaching out to people in need.

Department of Mathematics organizing an online intramural symposium on “Mathematics and its Applications” for final year UG & PG students of Mathematics Department / SBSR on 12th-13th May 2022. 

Our aim is to express Mathematics in an explicit manner which leads to a real understanding of the subject and lead students for advanced level research. Mathematics is a powerful problem-solving tool and a highly creative field of study that explains diverse phenomena such as the human nervous system, the evolution of life forms and the stock market. This series is devoted to significant topics or themes that have wide application in mathematics or mathematical science and for which a detailed development of the abstract theory is less important than a thorough and concrete exploration of the implications and applications.

Students will present their own project work/ dissertation through power point/ poster presentation on Mathematical Applications and Modelling in various emerging areas of Science & Technology.

OBJECTIVES: 

• To improve and bring out the hidden mathematical talents of the students.
• To promote enthusiasm and interest in mathematics among the students.
